Most Walgreens are the same I believe. They have a small drink section with only a select few drinks. It's really usually like half an isle. Used to get my neuro sleep there until they stopped carrying it recently in Lubbock. C'mon power brands why you gotta do that to me! At least bring the fizz down here.

I live in the Coachella Valley and yes they are different, people come in to buy cold drinks, being 100 degrees out with the sun down right now

That could be true. However most of the Walgreens I have been in are robust and give a good presentation to bottled waters and energy drinks.

Either way they are a great retailer and it is a good feather in MINE's cap.
