I was probably born a cheap bastard. But... I sure like having no debts and enough dough for travel, fancy restaurants and good bottles of plonk.
It sure is a different world maybe getting richer every month than further into debt. I go one better than you in one way. I don't have a car at all (though my wife has one and I'm buying my son one pretty soon, probably new).
