I don't know what it was that SDE ever saw in BBRD besides a decent-shell, but I can see how regulatory hurdles/holidays could have caused this.

Let's give him a chance and see how he/they preform...

If the underlying fundementals are there, it may not take champ to run this just great Board.

And don't rule-out something happening that could cause it to finalize prior to 30th.

Who knows? I think they brought Pedder in b/c he has experience with a publicly traded company, though it's prob. not worth 2 shiznits. So just for that reason I could see him being kept on. News of Pedder being out now or fired later will send the price up. That's a real kick in the *** to him.
