Hi karw, Shorter durations too,
I agree things need to get a bit cheaper. vWave is near all time highs at nearly 20% above the long time running average. Been slowly working my bond durations lower as we get closer to ending QE here in the states next month. Best Regards, Ken

You may well be right. I've several "...nearing the top but still a ways to go..." type comments. A lot of denial as well. So I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what to do at the moment and I have to get the money away from my mother's broker as soon as I can as the advice is lousy, like buying a REIT just before a dividend announcement. Total mistake.

I think what I'm going to do for the moment is to throw a dart at the AAII ETFs and, perhaps, throw in a item or two Dan Weiner's Vanguard portfolios.

Anybody got any suggestions for just starting out?
