To better understand SaaS.....

Anyone that works for a company, should know that  their company uses some type of software to run their business or to assist in the management of their business. That software, depending on the business, can do a multitude of things. That software can give your company email service, sales numbers, growth numbers/ progress, and a lot of other company analytics related to your company.

Some of you on this board who currently work for a company probably uses this software at your company but just do not recognize that it is being provided to your company as a service (SaaS) by another company.

This software in the pass was mainly maintained and built at your company’s headquarters. Now days, the software is provided by another company via the cloud/ or the web, and so there is no need to for more hardware to maintain the data because another company will maintain the data and security for your company.

So, SaaS can be in the mobile arena to provide a company’s employees email and the company’s intranet outside of work, or can be providing a company’s customers some type of customizable website and data, or it might be providing the company itself analytical data to the overall performance of the company. It all depends on the company to determine what the software will be that is provided, built, and maintained by a third party company like FRHV.
