The only reason WAMU came out whole was the NOL's carry-back law. Because of the refund on previous taxes paid unsecured was paid in full with back divi's and interest. Guess who benefited.

WAHU got 1 for 1 - CT's
WAMK got 1 for 2 - preferred
WAMU got decimals per share - common

Share conversion is based on my memory but damn close

Has Lehman received their refund?????
Did they file on time?
Is this part of any tolling/stay?

How much in taxes did Lehman pay from 2002/2003 to 2008? Anyone who did not receive a bailout would receive an IRS refund on taxes paid for the previous 5 years to off set NOt's. The law had a cut off date in 11/12 for filing a claim, if my memory serves correctly.

The IRS saved WAMU equity.

Yep, sure do.

Do you believe CT holders will have anything to smile about at all at any point in time?
