stringofpearls, why such is no big deal...

I know for a fact (or basically from my experience) that such is no big deal. You simply fill out the paperwork to get those areas of land reclassified and you can then do with them as you please within that reclassification. It doesn't take much to do such as I have learned of doing such from the Zoning POCs here in San Antonio, TX dealing with a piece of land in my neighborhood. I sat in on the City Council meeting on the issue. Some of the residents in our neighborhood didn’t want this apartment complex to be built on this particular piece of land because they thought that it would impede traffic and would drag the neighborhood down years later down the road. The other option was to get the property reclassified because of how it was zoned. The debate is still going on because the reclassification option that was decided allows for a variety of other businesses to be built on the land ranging from a grocery store to a strip club if the owner of the land so desired.

The land is owned by Mehos who is the connection of the land to be used for INCC marijuana cultivation. INCC and Mehos could have already started such process of reclassification I’m sure if need be. I might explain why I said ”if need be” a little later. Again, if the reclassification has not been initiated, it's not a long process to complete. Still, like you have stated, they already have a block that is already correctly classified. I’m sure that ”if” they were to use the entire 251 acres that I had previously identified, they would not use all of it at once. They would build up to such huge cultivation acre by acre if I had to guess. I still think that we are fine.
