Three possible reasons for no communications and no progress:

1. Ebola virus has stopped most business deals

2. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act situation not resolved yet

3. Product was not fully developed and still doesn't work (or there is no product - the website shows animation, not actual product.

I can think of a few more, but feel free to add to this starter list.
