I'm sure that they will analyze this closely as things get closer. I do think they will have a nice window of time to prosper and being next in will have its advantages.
* This may not even get that far if we're acquired. If I'm a MAJOR and have the means to get SPORT into most larger and mid-sized hospitals more quickly - I'd be lickin my chops...and a definite bidder. I still wonder if Covidien has interest, with Lannum now clearly "in the loop". You know Bertner and her team will be the first to get any breaking news.
Pure speculation - but I wonder if Covidien and Titan have an arrangement in place where Covidien has last chance to match/beat the highest bidder ? Lannum could be put in place to "monitor" the bidding process for legitimacy as he's a high ranking employee for Covidien.
