Obviously you don't understand markets and price discovery. No volume, wide spreads means little interest in buying or selling. If there truly is value in these shares why is there little interest in buying them at 50 cents, or even a dollar? With the wide spreads it would indicate that it is the market maker that is sitting on the bid and ask with little takers. IMO the shares are mostly held my largely misinformed small investors hanging on to hope. Not wanting to sell, and not wanting to buy more either. Talk about big payoffs, but no conviction to add to their position over 50cents a share.
