Frankly, with all the motions, counter motions, and multiple litigation I have lost any sense of when/if this will occur. I believe the court has before it motions from both sides for/against summary judgements. That said, I also believe the court can act any time, or never on them. If nothing happens in that regard we will go to trial, probably many months from now. Then we will have the appeals and other legal wrangling for years. Without a SJ with prejudice against the defendants we have a long dreary road ahead. I had hoped that the extreme action taken by the defendants in filing a Writ of Mandamus and its failure meant that the defendants saw the writing on the "SJ wall". Now, I am now even sure of that significance. This is a complete fiasco. We must always remember that justice is not necessarily the goal here; that is, and always will be -- process.
