#173694 RE: GDorn #173693

Actually, I Think I'm Wrong

From the original Announcement of the HempWire Partnership:

SAN DIEGO, April 7, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Medical Marijuana Inc. (OTC Pink:MJNA) is pleased to inform shareholders and the general public it completed the joint venture with LiveWire Ergogenics, Inc. (OTCQB:LVVV) under the name of HempWire, LLC ("HempWire"). The joint venture agreement stipulates that Medical Marijuana Inc. and LiveWire Ergogenics ("LiveWire") will equally split the net profits (50/50) from all cannabidiol (CBD)-rich hemp oil functional food sales distributed through HempWire.

Now, LVVV was providing the taffy squares and MJNA (through HempMeds) was providing the CBD oil. So what happens to the 50/50 split if LVVV is providing both the "functional food" and the CBD?

Honestly I think LVVV may be as much or more of a train wreck as MJNA but one has a partnership announcement with a CBD supplier while the other can't file their quarterly reports on time. And while it may come to pass that MJNA will be purchasing CBD Oil from LVVV it looks like LVVV (and APRU) wants to compete directly with MJNA on:

we will be initially utilizing
the CANNA Bliss and CANNA Rush trade names
to market CBD-based chews with caffeine
(CANNA Rush) and without caffeine (CANNA Bliss).

We are exploring several categories for expansion including
powders,
bars,
teas,
enhanced water,
and vape oil.

Again, too soon to say for sure but (once again) MJNA might be losing a partner and gaining a competitor.
