EPGL has technology no other company in that list owns.


They don't "own" anything until a patent is issued... if it issues... if they can get useful claims...

For all any of us know, EPGL's concept could be infringing other patents currently pending! And that includes the folks at EPGL!

Here is a scenario... Novartis and Google approached EPGL and after reviewing it technically they realized that THEY have patents pending that cover the technology (and were filed earlier) and that is why they backed off.

COO comes along and thinks the technology has a chance, but they have no knowledge of any Google or Novartis patents that are pending... how could they?
