That is very plausible. What it comes down to is EPGL had its choice of partners. Not just any partners, but massive companies. They chose CooperVision for a reason. It provided them the best pathway to achieve what they are desirous to achieve.
That is a great insight and something that could have very well been. Hopefully we get to find out all the nitty gritty details someday.
