I've been assuming that Dov will come back as CEO of $APP right after they finish "investigation".

I don’t think it’s not bad at all because Dov got better support from Board especially like Robert Mintz backed by Lion Capital and Laura Lee backed by Standard General. $APP has better team now.

The biggest past problem was that Dov was always on his own and didn't get no supports from the Board who were just waiting for him to fail. If the Board wanted to kick Dov out, they should have planned this better and found new CEO before kicking Dov out.

$APP was already getting back on track with Dov when I got in in April. Like I have written, I didn’t like the Board suddenly kicked him out knowing Q2 report was good because of Dov.. If they wanted, they could have kicked him out 6 years ago. Dov's problem didn't start during Q2 this year..


And I guess the next biggest threat for $APP will be UNIQLO by the end of this year. UNIQLO can easily take over $APP's "BASIC" products. They already have 3 “POP UP SHOP”s in L.A. and O.C. If UNIQLO opens the flagship shop building in DTLA like the SOHO one, UNIQLO may steal bunch of customers from $APP.

Then we realize Dov's queer creativity, "MADE IN U.S.A." kind of philosophy and the way he promote his brand was very important to compete with those fast fashion companies.

For example this is something only Dov can do… $APP is like a culture that pervades LA

And to compete with UNIQLO which got the best IT team in Japan, Laura Lee from Google might have been the best choice when they create whole new $APP online shopping website.

This is one of my assumptions. Second assumption is that $APP found NEW CEO like José Neves from farfetch.com or someone like Tony Stark. In this case, Dov has to leave for good... But I don't think it will happen..easily.. I guess nobody wants to be the CEO of the company that the ousted former CEO like Dov owns more than 40% shares...Personally I want a SUPER WOMAN like Laura Lee to be new CEO. I think she can get along with Dov as a creative consultant…?
