#79765 RE: Spillmonkey #79763

i dont believe kim is a fake... i believe hes in way over his head...both in the science and the business aspects of the company...

in early 2011, after successfully producing worm silk with spider silk mixed in, everyone believed the road to riches had just been paved and it was just a short walk away...i maintained that success in the lab was not going to translate into business success that easily...that this was cutting edge complex biotech that still had a long way to go...of course i was told the boat was leaving the dock and almost all agreed they would be waving good bye to me...

3 1/2 years later, with everyone disagreeing with me the whole way, it hasnt happened...

kim has always needed help...he has refused to seek it...i believe, out of arrogance...he has insisted on sticking with csc financing even tho he needed much more money than they could reasonably provide...

these are the two biggest problems...this is why kblb is losing any lead they may have had...

many felt kblb's lead was so huge, it wasnt an issue...now many of those same individuals are proclaiming "the race is on to commercialization!"...lol...or even worse, consoling themselves with the idea that theres room for more than one spider silk company...

kblb has very little time left to dilly dally...if anyone believes that there are competitors close to catching up to kblb, then you have to ask yourself some questions...

kblb is still plodding along as an extremely underfunded one man operation...
most of the competitors are very well funded, employ many scientists, and are staffed with credible and competent businessmen...

who is going to move faster?...who has the advantage?...

never mind the universities involved and charlie howland... they've all got universities and charlie howlands...

kblb still has time...and probably an advantage...for now...

but for how much longer?...and how much longer do they need?
