The result is not inconsistent with previous Zmapp test after 5 days resulting 3/7 survival referenced here:

In this new study, less lethal dose of 628 PFU was injected compared to 1,000 PFU in previous study, only 3 started treatment at day 5 while the other 6 started treatment either at day 3 or day 4. 3 in control group died on day 4, 8, 8 after IM injection - The one died on day 4 had viraemia load much higher than either others at time of Zmapp treatment or the two died at day 8. IMO it reinforces the idea viraemia load at time of treatment more important than days in general.
