mchp was a buywrite, someone sold puts on it while holding stock. so those weren't puts being bought.

which makes that oppsing buy of the 493 MCHP 100 SEP 14 49 CALL @.60 LMT like an even more interesting trade. course i am late to the party and should've realized that this morning. 204k share buy at the close as well..

either way, i didn't participate in either trade.
