That was the phrase that made it sound like you were implying that the late trader was "selling" in order to get out from under his short position. That's what prompted my initial question. Perhaps you were using "dumped" to mean something other than sell and I just misunderstood. It's not a big deal. I'm sure if he covered his short position he's happier today as a result!
Looks like a little consolidation now and then hopefully a resumption of the climb.
