Drkazmd you are correct. Its just a simple fix for Dr Diwan. All he has to do is tweak the ligand to ignore the interference. Its like those old radios where you had to play wih the knob to tune in the radio station. I am certain Diwan, the genius inventor of nanoviricides, is on the job and in no time will make this adjustment.

That's another thing about Science,.... you usually learn more from understanding why it is that something didn't work than if it were to work first right out of the box.

NNVC and the guys at USAMRIID learned that they had to go after Ebola in a more sophisticated way,.... as that virus has deployed something in an in vivo system that needs to be delt with,....

Now they have redesigned the ligands to 'ignore' the interference,.... and it'll come back even better in the next iterations.
