I imagine the sliced caps are from the person removing the shrink wrap from the pallet. They probably use a utility knife and cut it and cut into the caps. For those on here that received cut caps are the bottles that are affected on the ends or sides of the case or are there some in the middle of the case too? It won't take much to determine what caused this.
This is a very minor issue that can be easily resolved..
