Ibc looks at everything through 'intel death' colored glasses!

Pentium and Celeron percentage going up because Intel is gaining substantial share at lower end and not because of any upper end slippage.
Core M will be a premium product with a lot of demand

You are absolutely right. In fact, Intel has in several meetings with investment firms indicated that the i5 and i7 CPUs have been selling in higher volumes over the last couple of years.

IBC likes to look at all the news with pessimism because he is looking to exit and get in later at a lower price. That's ok...only thing is it will not work like that this time around in the immediate term. Intel will go higher for the next few quarters, IBC's plan would become meaningful at that time.

The notebook mix is claimed to go from 50-60% to 60-70%.
Was there really 10-20% share to gain? I thought Intel already had most of the low-end share anyways.

Furthermore, the article is claiming this:

With demand for ultrabooks and 2-in-1 devices below expectations, while touchscreen notebook sales are also seeing trouble picking up, Intel and Microsoft are now mainly providing subsidies to vendors for inexpensive models.
