I would agree with the general proposition that the greater the transparency, the greater the tolerance of investors. However, I am not at all sure that the maxim fits the situation at SGLB, and it may be better for SgLB to be less transparent than desired given that they have NDAs in place with more than one 3D player. If Cola were to violate the NDA in some sort of a statement meant to inform investors, the consequences could be much more damaging from lawsuits and disturbed relationships with a major 3D player than it is from limited transparency temporarily undermining investor confidence and tolerance. SGLB is a start up company and the factors which have impact are different than the factors which impact an established company. This is all much more uneven and less predictable...alll the worse for the investors who want more transparency.
