I think I know what's going on: Santa Rosa seems to be the one of companies behind those "own your own oil well" sites. They go out, raise a bunch of money from accredited, but naive investors, drill a bunch of wells and take a chunk of the royalties.
Do what you want, it's your money. I sold my stake.
