1OFHIS,
That's OK. We can disagree on this, and I may be wrong on this. I am also trying to think though, as heavy as the ark had to have been, although it floated, it was not 100% above water. If you take a look at the directions for building the ark,
Genesis 6:14-17- "Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. 15 And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. 16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it."
"pitch" is a type of tar, or paste, that was the thick sealant both inside and outside the ark. Oxygen would not have been able to pass through that paste.
The other thing we do not know is what the window was made of or what it looked like.
I'm just aproaching this from an "Apollo 13" standpoint- too much CO2 and not enough oxygen.
Just an opinion. I could be wrong.
