so we are building machines that will think and they will see that truly we are worthless for the systems to survive and therefore we are most certainly expendable. WE, some humans have made this possible for these super machines?

I most certainly can see the extinction part of what we are doing but it's difficult to grasp that we, the human would build a machine with a mind that would see ...hey! .. We must go .. ;) ... awesome!

To a sentient autonomous android the lesser species are irrelevant but also non-competing so no reason to eliminate them, that's a human trait. There is always Asimov's three laws of robotics.
