What does that patent have to do with SLTD? There is no mention of Solar3D. In fact the address of the filer is some where in Salt Lake UT!

We discussed that old intl. patent application on here a while back (it is set forth above in the intro section of the SLTD page). The international search authority gave a thumbs up on only 2 out of the 20 claims comprising that application. Both of those claims (11, 20) were dependent claims (they rely on other claims that failed). More importantly, however, SLTD apparently let the claims in that intl. application expire--they did not proceed to the national phase. You can see that the "national phase" tab never went active on the webpage for that application.
