That's if they come out. The Magic Storm website is still offline. The untitled Greek god project ("Apollo Rising" + "Eternal") has a complicated beginning. "Legion of 5" has been MIA since 2008.
But, if they do come out on some sort of yearly schedule, I could see Mattel wanting to be part of it (toy licensing).
I am a bit concerned about Disney not renewing the first look deal (I don't blame them). In the last couple of Stan Lee interviews, Stan Lee did not mention "Zodiac" or the POW!-Disney relationship. He did align himself with Marvel more and didn't mind mentioning the Marvel-Disney connection. I don't know what is going on there, but I think something is in the works (for better or worse).
Don't forget, "Mighty 7" movies coming out in November and January. We might even start seeing some branded merchandise. And, Andy did say they were still working on a "Mighty 7" TV series, as well as developing two other Stan Lee Comics IP ("Air Walker" and "Superhero High").
We are less than 1.5 months from NYCC and finding out what the next phase of "Blood Red Dragon" is from Yoshiki (c'mon we all know Stan isn't going to say much about it).
"Zodiac" illustrated novel is still set for the end of January. I lost some of the excitement about this. Disney not renewing the first look deal is a real downer.
I no longer expect Stan Lee or Gill Champion to run the company any better than they are now. I guess the adage "you can't teach old dogs new tricks" apply here.
I rewrote this response three times. The first one really negative and the second was an incoherent rant. I hope this one makes some sort of sense.
