I will take the courts ruling over the opinion of a competitor with an objective any day. The courts rules that hemp is not a controlled substance and that the DEA can not regulate hemp. Therefore, that does not apply. The DEA can only regulate Marijuana as Marijuana is the controlled substance and not hemp.

What is interesting is that the CBD that they list as a controlled substance fall under what the court ruled to be the definition of THC (and other cannabinoids) coming from SYNTHETIC sources, not natural sources, as per the statement in the opinion part of the ruling.

The court has ruled that only MARIJUANA (leaves and flowers of the cannabis plant) and SYNTHETIC (meaning made in a lab and not from a plant source) are controlled and not when it comes from hemp (seeds and stems.)
