Ever heard of this guy Thys Terblanche? I've been going through many of the things he has said publicly and he is like crazy about China. As early as 2009 (when he was with Standard Bank) he was talking about China. In fact he was quoted by the New York Times in 2009.

From Standard Bank he went to CIBC. He left CIBC in 2013 but China must've been on his brain because his last published work while with CIBC was titled Global Mining: Impact of Chinese Economy.

The 3 page article he co-wrote starts on page 74 of the document which is page 77 of the PDF.

So now I'm wondering...Thys wrote that then he left CIBC. I wonder if he is still interested in Chinese mining or if that was just a fad and he forgot about it? If he is still interested in China logic would dictate that he would put himself in the thick of it now that for all intensive purposes he is a freelancer. I'm just thinking out loud here.
