I was able to talk to Samra also...answered my email in a day and we talked on the phone for almost two hours.

Seems like they are in a decent place:
making money - the combination of their pivot to energy storage, and their on-line store, and the cost of their lithium iron phos batteries compared to others, and the Cali subsidies...all these are the cause of their good quarter.

He does feel like they've finally turned the corner after spending so many years struggling and as he put it 'always resisting the urge to accept toxic funding'

Be really interesting to see how they do the next several quarters and if new funding comes in they will really have a chance to grow this into something substantial
