I'm guessing they are moving in a direction to build a full AMD PC, that's the only reason this would make any sense. Is it a smart idea? Not sure. Personally, I would like to see them continue to focus more into the semi-custom business and high margin graphics division then be a mixed bag of everything. BUT if they can market a full AMD enthusiast PC at a good price that actually sells it could be a smart move. We'll see whats in the cards here, eventually.
