Once it is apparent that the cycle is ending, I will look to take profits.

So what metrics are you watching to identify when that cycle ends?? I believe the XP support ended in May..so a late Spring/Summer spike makes perfect sense...but I would think that would run it's course pretty quickly.

Also, another factor one would have to consider is that Intel is in the midst of a $4 billion buy-back "surge" this quarter...so that's undoubtedly providing some lift to the stock price that won't be there in future quarters.

Fair enough. If you are timing that way and believe Intel will not exist, that is your prerogative.
