I have the latest Java and have checked it works. I only have one Java installed I got it by going to the Java site rather than using the popup. I am using Google Chrome on Windows 7. I have no problems with any other site. I have temporarily blocked Javascript to get this message written as the popup seems to be getting more frequent on this site. I have Java configured so it asks me before running - and it never runs on this site. The page the popup redirects me to is

and it downloads a setup.exe file that of course I don't run.
