Thanks Nasty-But you misrepresented what I said.

Actually, Pulse has been in "their" possession since August 27, 2004. That is more like 10 years to get the product off the ground.

I quoted the message from Baxter previously, so I won't repeat the whole thing here. But, here's Baxter's last sentence:
"On August 27, 2004, PULSE was sold to HBLLC, with Catalyst Development handling Pulse interests for HBLLC."

You probably forgot that Ronald Kendrick runs Catalyst Development. He is Pulse's Chief of Product Development, as it says above on this very site. And, he "played a pivotal role in the development of the Pulse product line."

It's hard to determine if Pulse has any significant patent rights. If so, they may not have long to go. (Baxter introduced the product in May of 2002. If they got patents, it was probably before then.) If not, but the formulations are still useful, then there would be no need for an existing beverage company to acquire Pulse.
