Pike's investment in SpongeCrap stock was for his investor fund. He undoubtedly had some of his own money in this fund, but most of it came from other investors.
I'm sure they were steaming mad about their loss, although in my opinion I bet he hedged most of this investment to limit losses.
If you believe his statements, he investigated the company, believed their story and bought big-time, then sold at a big loss. If this is true he no longer has the shares, not that anyone on this board has any claim on them whatsoever!!
