#300 RE: Globaltrnr #299

I trade on the potential of the company. I wonder who bought PanAm on the downtrun because they were a necessity. I wonder who scoffed at Monster Energy Drinks when they were a penny stock. How about Chipotle- are burritos a necessity? Maybe cars could be a necessity, how did the government do on all those GM shares (remember "too big to fail"?) purchased at a premium and sold at a huge discount after the bankruptcy they were supposed to avoid?

Do you know what got people through the Great Depression? Movies. Bread was a necessity that people stood in long lines for, but people went to the movies regularly. Entertainment is one of the more recession-proof industries and with the mobile industry still developing the gaming apps industry will eventually get its version of Nintendo or Sony. Apps are relatively much cheaper than movies ever were with far more entertainment value. King is a strong contender for the top spot.

Emotions? No. Speculation? Absolutely. Just like day traders, but with more numbers to crunch and factors to consider. I have to go now, but again good luck.
