For me it sounds like he was working for microsoft when it was a startup , wow !!! best unexpected news since 1 year indeed !!! Good that i doubled my large position 2 days ago...
He apparently had a pretty high-up job at Microsoft and seems to be a proven business builder, so here's hoping. I believe a guy with his background is going to expect a lot of autonomy and that's good - who knows if the fit is right, but you have to like the direction the company is taking.
