I'm fully aware of the virtues of AON orders, thank you very much. However it is harder to get an AON order filled sometimes. Besides, I wasn't interested in an all or none order because I would've been content to get less than all the shares I bid for. Half, or even a quarter of what I ordered would've been enough for me to be happy with the execution.
But one freaking share? Darn.
Anyway, I'm not looking for anyone's sympathy, I just wanted to point out an anecdotal trading peculiarity.
My open bid for 1.75 million shares went unfilled while other larger and smaller bids that showed up on L2 after mine got filled.
This stock has been manipulated down so that insiders could get it on the cheap. The stock price will rise again.
