Shail - I am not an expert on the listing requirements for NYSE or Nasdaq, but I am fairly certain that profitability is not one of them. There are many growth companies on the major exchanges that are not profitable - e.g. TSLA.
The ONLY reason for the RS is to get listed, IMO. I haven't read the transcript from this morning, but I am confident that the CEO's mention of Nasdaq or NYSE would not make sense if this were not the company's goal.
Thanks for sharing that with me Shail. I agree that the up-listing will take some time, but the value of the increase will be immediate on the day of the R/S. I think this will show the institutional investors they are serious and in the process of up-listing.
