"Since phase 2 is being planned, we know it is safe." I agree "we" all know........but the rest of the world will know when it is published in a major medical journal.....that's why it is relevent!

Just chuckling to myself as I recall back to the time when this trial started and reading the relating message boards with 90% posting about inevitable tumor growths that will result from the implantation of embryonic stem cells. How these cells unproven can transform to uncontrollable growth resulting in disfigurement of all sorts. We have come along way and the safety concern has all but been extinguished along with those posters. A great achievement in itself, if you were to rewind to the starting of trials years ago. Now we are on the verge of a CRITICAL and exciting progression into PHASE II where safety will no longer be a concern, as efficacy will take the forefront of observation. It is here, in this phase, that the trial will or will not be successful. Also in this critical phase of testing, is where most small biotechnology companies partner or are bought out, as data is more transparent to potential overseeing field/related conglomerates. Critical phase also for all investors as all news will be strongly reflected in the price of the stock. Been waiting for this PHASE II for a long time.

Yes $ACTC's shareholders know $ACTC's $RPEs are safe. However $ACTC's shareholders, and the rest of the world, want to know all about TLD for the visual acuity improvements in the legally blind AMD/SMD as well as the 20/100 cohort.
