The original trial was set for 62 patients on study drug. That number must have some significance for the primary endpoints. To get that number, this uninterrupted stage will have 66-67 patients on study drug with 100 enrolled. The first stage is ongoing, not recruiting so yes, 2 out of 3 of the 100 being recruited will get the study drug. Can't hurt.
Dr. Torley stated that 75% of the centers were online with new centers coming onboard quickly. The trial restarted with 43 centers recruiting. That would put total centers around 57 for 100 patients. The first stage recruited over 100 patients in one year with a slow build to the max of 47 centers. Thinking this should finish enrollment in less than 12 months.
