#15137 RE: shiloh12 #15135

Given we have the superior technology, it would be logical the TSA would go IMSC sole source. The explosive trace detector's role is to protect lives, so purchasing anything but the very best product makes no sense and leaves the TSA open to criticism. However, the fact that IMSC hasn't had to deliver large quantities of product in a relatively short time (I think the India order covered years) could give the government pause initially. Hope not. Clearly the new facility will help, and Glenn has said the company has no trouble delivering 200 units a month. Presumably Brenda has backup to manufacture more. I think that if the initial order is for 540 units (I think it is) as per TSA documentation, that might be good for us because we could handle that size order. We'd be well up the learning curve next fiscal year when the order is expected to be much larger. AS to valuation, it's difficult to pinpoint because there are so many variables. Yes, we know the TSA will order. But how about the State Department? The Canadian TSA? We have French, German and Chinese certification -- will those governments follow the U.S?. Then there's non-government sales -- will they be influenced by a TSA order? What will our margins be? We could easily be a $40-$50 million company within a year or two, netting $15-$20 million. In that case, the stock price would be looking at $10/share, maybe more. Wouldn't it be lovely.
