I am impressed by the well thought out post Hokus! Hegyi said they are going vertical with the company. Soil, nutrients, managment and as you said quality control...its not just putting a seed and soil under a halide light..then going back in a few weeks for the harvest. Growers require very specific formulations of chemicals and soil to produce the quality and variety of products. Bravo....I too (having known a grower) have an understanding of how difficult growing MJ is. There is a place in this market for Growlife...for sure. We all just hope they can shake the bad PR and move on to real business. Hegyi is far ahead of all of us in the marketing and sales opportunities available to the sector. The companies who stay ahead of the curve survive. At this point....are any of the MJ companies making $$?? Looks to be like the beginning of tech! Lots of smoke...fire came after millions were invested. Thanks for the post!

Hey There hokus

I agree with some of what you say, but to say the previous regime and their ideas were premature instead of failures, IMO is wrong...
They were failures pure and simple, they were failures compounded by habitual lies told to investors/supporters for the pure monitary gain of a few...

John Q Public has very little information to go as to what Hegyi and the boys are up to, other than they want to be the supplier & friend to commercial growers .....That is basically what PHOT has wanted to be from the get go...
Take the so called GIFT program, they were going to furnish/lease grow equip to comm grow operations for a unnamed amount of $$$ and also for part of the harvest....
We all know how that turned out, not one inked contract unless you can call the LeafAspen deal (Which was basically just a lease to purchase agreement, Not even sure if it is still in effect)!!

It is impossible to make a silk purse out of a sows ear...

Personally I would like to see PHOT dig itself out of the muck it has gotten itself in, to the point I/we/all of us can make some more cash......BUT with no revenues coming in, civil lawsuits looming overhead, creditors (I bet) knocking on the door, Hegyi's $1.9 mm dollar salary and who knows how much other overhead wanting to get paid, they will have to sell/lease tens of thousands of units of equipment just to keep afloat, let along make a profit....Obviously, the existing commercial growers out there are getting their equipment from somebody else, who is doing it better, faster, stronger and obviously more reliable!!
I apologize, but I just do not see it happening.......
