That is not reasonable in today's market. Try a lot closer to 10% and recalculate.

OK, lets talk Home Products Then just to compare $200 - $300 items.

Exterior Doors sold at Lowes and Home Depot are marked up about 20-30%, BBQ Grills ... about 20-30%, Lumber 12-20%, Power Tools... about 20-30%

Then the opposite.... hardware like bolts, hinges, nails, locksets, plumbing fittings 100% +++

Long time friend and owner of my local motorcycle dealership told me 20% markup on bikes for the price in the tag but averages around 10% after negotiations. But he also told me that the manufacture often gives cash incentives to him for every bike he sells. Usually right before new models come out and it's between 250-600 per sale depending in model.
