People do start buying for Christmas early. I know relatives that do Xmas shopping after Labor Day. I know it's early but hey why not give it a shot. There maybe summer clothing going on sale that would be cheaper now rather than later if they are even available later. Ever hear Christmas in July? I think it's rather silly myself but some are into it. Even QVC has specials Christmas in July where they sell decorations lights trinkets etc.
