It had to be some date
It's just possible that this particular date has no more significance than any other date.
I do not expect big news to be announced in a pre-recorded call just after the recent 8Ks. But who knows. Even without presenting significant news as such, management could still say a lot that is big: for example, their perception of industry acceptance of the technology; their perception of the reception of how well it works; whether that 10-15% number is obtained from data collected in the field (they may have to put it even more vaguely than that - for example by simply saying "We are extremely confident in asserting these figures" - but either way we'll all know they're talking about TransCanada); their recognition of the challenge now to build market value, and a concrete plan and roadmap for doing so. All that would be very welcome, though I don't think any of it would move the shareprice.
I think the only thing that is going to push the price up now is big institutional buying, media reports, analyst attention (probably too early for that), a significant order from an existing client, or another big client, or maybe a big order for upstream. It seems like the stock was getting much more attention in the penny stock world a year or two ago, and now no one responds too much to this really huge news we're seeing.
However, all that can change very quickly.
We also should keep in mind that management believes their most profitable sector is with upstream companies. At the SHM, I was told that Mr. Bigger indicated that an Upstream unit was already under construction. I don't know how much longer it can be until we hear something about that. However, I also believe the KM contract took a long time to straighten out - probably over a year, I'm guessing.
