Yeah the patent isn't going to update until end of August. We'll see.

Correct, no patent issued yet. However, they have patent-pending protection, which is just as good... until/if it expires. SLTD would have already received the preliminary report on patentability. Assuming it was favorable, they could share that with any potential partners/suitors.

Also, the comment filing period has expired on the international application, and it appears no claims or comments were filed. So, I don't see any legitimate concern that SLTD would actually be infringing on any other patent.
