The amazing fact is that in 30 years of being involved in selling E&O policies I have NEVER NEVER NEVER had anyone read the policy that required it.
If the requesting entity actually knew what the coverage was they would have an attack.
Usually it could be said that the Insured is just buying a Certificate of Insurance for some clerk (at requesters office) to file.
