This is classic. This is the exact pattern that 60 Minutes detailed last week. A HF paying and manipulating an obscure research company with no rep and very little readership, to downgrade a stock for the gain of the HF. If you saw the program you know that the Conn. AG has launched an investigation into HFs and there power to influence. The owner of the HF spoken about in the segment, makes a reportedly $500 MILLION a year. Think they won't do anything? They prey on momentum stocks.
If you had followed the recommendations of "Beating Wall Street" you would not have missed the last 28-point rise. They are nothing. The only other recommendation I've ever seen from these guys was last summer. They do not seriously report on this stock.
Rambus (RMBS) The company is a leading provider of chip-to-chip interface products and services. The company's breakthrough technology and engineering expertise have helped leading chip and system companies to solve their challenging interface problems and bring industry-leading products to market. RMBS' interface solutions can be found in hundreds of computing, consumer electronic and networking products. The company is involved in lawsuits against major memory manufactures over patents that Rambus says Hynix, Micron and Infineon have infringed upon. Rambus has settled with Infineon where Infineon has achknowledged that RMBS' patents are vaolid. Now that this case is done, RMBS is involved in a dispute with former customer Samsung. For the extent of the legal battles RMBS is involved in we have a Hold rating on the stock.
